Coaching Options

Phone Coaching

Coaching has traditionally been conducted via the phone.  This gives us the obvious advantage of logistics, meaning that coaching can be done from just about anywhere without actually requiring the physical presence of either party.  This means that overhead can be kept down and transportation costs eliminated.  It also meant that a potential client is not limited to local talent and can widen the search range considerably for a suitable coach.  Phone Coaching also allows you to remain comfortable in your normal work or living environment, easing the discomfort of a foreign office environment.

In-Person Coaching

In-Person Coaching gives us the most flexibility in our coaching relationship.  This gives us a chance to truly understand each other and create a much more intimate connection.  Because body language, tone and facial expressions play such a vital role in daily communication, one can easily see how essential it might be to sit across from each other.  Adding the visual to the audio can make a substantial difference in the overall effectiveness of the coaching process.

Web-Cam Coaching

Through the wonders of technology, we now have the ability to conduct coaching sessions via the Web-Cam.  This allows for a nice compromise to many advantages that both traditional Phone Coaching and In-Person Coaching possess.  It would still allow you to stay in your own surroundings, saving time, energy and money.  It still lets you receive the services from nearly anywhere in the world.  Yet it also gives you the reassurance of seeing your partner.  Knowing that your coach is actively involved in your process and sitting around in his pajamas watching a soap opera.  Even though it is not as effective as face-to-face time, it does allow us to show each other things and still get some feel for body language and tone.  In many ways, this is probably the most effective form of Coaching available.
